Lots of people talking ***** about them here but you can't argue their place in rock history. I'm not a fan but Steven could never be replaced and is definitely one of a kind. I think this article is blowing the story out of proportion though. It simply sounds like Steven wants some time off to focus on his own stuff. I'm sure there will be a reunion tour in 5 - 10 years.

Carputers have been in cars for years now. It's nice to see them developing into motorcycles. However, I have to wonder about the practicality of it. Hopefully it's used a server to distribute data, rather than hosting an interface. I can't imagine trying to interface with a computer on a bike while driving it. Touchscreen is out because you wear gloves, and obviously keyboard/mouse won't work. If it has Festival you could do voice though... The article is pretty thin on details..

People seem to forget how much the US economy still drives the world economy (which is odd, given that the US economy's nosedive just last year tanked the world economy). Countries like China and India have a huge stake in keeping the dollar strong enough that their imports remain cheap. A weak dollar will just make it cheaper for America to manufacture stuff at home...which is good for US jobs, but it means everything will cost more.?
