Not all muslims are terrorists.Yet most terrorists identify themselves as muslim.If the second group would just identify themselves as 'muslim terrorists', we could stop worrying about the non terrorist muslims.
I expected as much, which is basically part of what I said in a reply above. It's incredibly unfortunate as corporate criminals like these only make it tougher for legitimate businesses to secure grants and loans. Essentially, they've stolen taxpayer funds, and are now fleeing the country. I hope somebody goes to jail for this.

What annoys me is how polarizing Dylan is. There's no need for this discussion to devolve into outright dismissal of opponents arguments by both sides.Dylan has some damn good songs. Listen to his most recent albums with reference to their context in American music and roots. They are very impressive pieces of work. This album is also an example of that, though Dylan had no business trying to sing some of these songs.On the other hand, any Dylan fan who does not admit that he is often indecipherable in concert (unless you know the lyrics) or that he has had long periods of releasing bad material in his career is delusional.If nothing else, Dylan is pretty damn funny..
Being from Minnesota I have to say that the Wild Jersey is pretty awesome and very popular here. That being said, I think that the Red Wings Winter Classic Jerseys should have been at the top of the list. Go Wild!

Petroleum is awesome if can be refined into dozens if not hundreds of products.. but environmentally it is pretty bad, i.e oil spills, pollution, the billions of items floating in th Pacific ocean etc etc.?

Congress does have this authority as granted by the general welfare clause.This authority was granted in 1937 when conservatives challenged the constitutionality of the social security act in Helvering v. Davis, 301 U.S. 619 (1937).Please inform yourself. Being a constitutional expert involves a lot more than reading a 6 page document.There are 27 amendments and 200 years worth of supreme court rulings that have molded the constitution to apply to modern times. And as stated above the Helvering v. Davis, 301 U.S. 619 (1937) ruling makes a nationwide healthcare plan 100% constitutional. In order for it to be unconstitutional the supreme court would have to repeal that ruling. And since doing so would end social security, welfare, medicare, medicaid and all other social programs I wouldn't hold my breath. |
